RENTHEAD Week at The Hudson Theater

RENT Hollywood at the HUDSON Theater in LA has just been extended another 4 weekends!

As a thank you, we will be having a RENTHEAD Weekend for all the fans of the show who has made our production a success.

Prizes, Costume Parades and Sing-a-long are in store. And good news, all tickets for that weekend will be only $20.

May 7 Sat 8pm - RENT Talk-Back & Chillin with the Cast

RENT Broadway/Nat'l Tour alums Stu James and Lesly Terrell Donald visit RENT Hollywood!

On Friday, April 23rd, more members of the amazing RENT extended family came to spread the love to RENT Hollywood! Broadway/National Tour vets Stu James (Benny) and Lesly Terrell Donald (Collins) saw the show and loved it! The cast was on fire, the show was sold out and the evening ended with a much deserved standing ovation! It's great to have so many extended RENT family come supporting RENT Hollywood and more RENT family is scheduled to attend to come as RENT Hollywood has now extended through May 21st!

RENT Family Brunch with the Larsons, Anthony Rapp and the Extended RENT Family!

On Sunday, April 17th in Beverly Hills, RENT Hollywood was invited to an exclusive brunch at The Farm with members of the extended RENT Family hosted by none other than the late Jonathan Larson's family; his sister Julie, and his parents Nan and Al 'Pops' Larson.

Among the attendees were OBC members Anthony Rapp (Mark), Gwen Stewart (Seasons Soloist), Jai Rodriguez (Broadway/West Coast Angel) original costume designer Angela Wendt, Stu James (Broadway Benny), and Yassmin Alers (Broadway/Hollywood Bowl production).

With the Larsons inviting RENT Hollywood to the extended RENT family, director Jerianne Banson says "it only validates what were trying to do with this show, and that is to spread the message of love and living each day like it's your last. Everyone here just welcomed us with open arms. It's one thing to visit a rehearsal but it's another to be invited to such a warm atmosphere. Now that we've been invited by the Larsons to be a part of the extended RENT family, it just comes completely full circle."

RENT Angel Shaun Earl visits RENT Hollywood!

On Sunday, April 3rd, Shaun Earl (7th from left), one of RENT's Angel (Broadway, National Tour) paid a visit to RENT HOLLYWOOD along with Gwen Stewart (OBC Broadway)! We've been so blessed to have the extended RENT Family be so supportive!

With Gwen Stewart helping us surprise our director Jerianne Banson right when the clock strikes midnight, members of the cast and crew wish our awesome director a happy, happy birthday!

RENT Hollywood Performs at The Grove!

The Grove/Farmer's Market just got a taste of the East Village, circa 1996! RENT Hollywood performed in front of a packed crowd underneath the Farmer's Market clock tower selections from the show! With a gorgeous sunny afternoon, RENT Hollywood was also out in force to raffle out some great RENT prizes! 

RENT Hollywood's Mark and Roger Up for BroadwayWorld Awards!

Yes! Our very own Mark (Jason Aaronson) and Roger (Enrico Banson) snagged BroadwayWorld.com nominations! Enrico is nominated for Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Local) for Roger in our San Francisco Regional Premiere production of RENT and Jason Aaronson is nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Local) for our West Coast Premiere production of Glory Days! Also, our wonderful set designer Adrienne Fraser nabbed a Best Scenic Design (Local) nomination for RENT, San Francisco! We're so excited to have these three on board for RENT Hollywood!
